Technique International, Vocational Training Center was established in June 1990 with a commitment to quality training and Meeting the needs of industry within the private Sector.

Technique International represents in Sri Lanka, The World Federation of Hairdressing and Beauty Schools (UK). A qualified hairdresser/beautician can only be good as the training he/she receives. With this in mind we ensure that our students receive the best education in theory and practice.

Hair dressing is more than just working with hair. It’s about ideas and an enterprise that turns a fundamental craft into a big business. It’s also a vast industry that can offer a career possibility to the person who has a sound training in hair dressing. So go beyond the world of styling and the average salon.

QUALITY OBJECTIVES

Quality Management System of the TIIVS incorporates quality planning provides a framework for managing the activities that enable the Institute to create programmes and services which consistently satisfy the customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements, and is a tool for achieving enhanced customer satisfaction.

The QMS objective is to improve the performance of the organisation, and achieve a sustained success that allows the business to continually improve and develop. The areas which have been identified as critical to achieving this objective are given below:

• Understanding customer needs, requirements and expectations. (Exam results)
• Promote leadership and teamwork towards common goals and purpose.
• Involve people throughout the organisation, with training as necessary, to fully develop their competency and awareness skills. (No. of suggestions)
• Efficient utilization of resources while working to pre-determined targets.
• Identify and manage working systems that improve the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness.

Goal Characteristics

The goals and objectives a company defines under a quality management system have to be clear, achievable and measurable. A clear goal is one that addresses a specific objective from the company’s strategic plan. It includes details of what employees have to do to achieve it. To let students determine when the company has reached its goal, the goal has measurable characteristics that indicate how much progress is required and when the company has fulfilled its objectives. When students receive NVQ 5 National Diploma & NVQ 6 – Higher National Diploma in Cosmetology, leading to management qualifications.

“To be the centre of excellence in providing Advanced Qualification for the (Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy) Cosmetology industry sector in accordance to the government policies for national and international recognition. We are committed to comply with the quality management system requirements and continually improve the effectiveness of the system for achieving enhanced student satisfaction”.

Develop decision making skills and job seeking  skills and improve qualities often attributed to a good skilled worker.

To provide students  with an insight into industry with work experiences programmes.
